Medical Leech Therapy

Leech therapy has been existed for hundreds of years and has been widely used by Egyptians and people all over the world for various health conditions. From microsurgery to stagnated vein related issues such as superficial or deep skin thrombophlebitis, leech therapy is the most effective way to solve these symptoms.

Any blood clot related issues such as micro-surgery related re-plantation, a medical leech therapy is also one of the most effective methods to rebuild the injured tissues or body parts. The definition of re-plantation according to the American Society of Surgery of the Hand refers to the reattachment of a cut-off finger, hand or arm from a person’s body. Some other parts of the body such as toes, feet, legs or even penis can also be reattached and be healed by applying the medical leech therapy to remove blood clots and to rebuild that injured tissues. Acutomology

In ancient China, TCM practitioners were not only considered as an acupuncturist, a herbalist but also a surgeon. They have to learn herbalogy in order to prescribe herbal formulas to treat internal symptoms; they also have to learn acupuncture in order to treat symptoms, trauma injuries and perform surgery. There are 9 different size and shape needles which were used on daily practices and several of them were used for surgical purposes.

Among various acupuncture treatments, there is a treatment called acutomology. It is an equivalent to modern day surgery procedures which a special acupuncture needle was used to resolve deep rooted muscular-skeletal scar tissues, pains or injuries. The acutomology has been widely accepted and applied in clinics in China as well as another 15 countries worldwide. It is a safe method to eliminate deep rooted pains.

Weight loss

This procedure include 3 steps: acupuncture treatment, herbal treatment (if necessary) and the control of diet--food therapy.

During acupuncture treatment, different modalities will be used and the entire procedure will take about 60 minutes. The herbal treatment is to provide you with an appropriated herbal formula to help adjusting the guts microbiota and therefore to reconstruct a healthy digestion system. The food therapy includes instructions of what kinds of food you should take or avoid; special order of FDA approved food/herb ingredients will be provided under your permission to meet your goal within a certain period of time.
